The book beautifully narrates the ecumenical journey of the Mar Thoma Church over the centuries. Each chapter, contributed by various authors, provides a unique perspective on the church's history and its significance in the global ecumenical movement.

Released in conjunction with the church's new ecumenical agreement with the Old Catholic Church, the book offers readers a comprehensive retelling of the church's ecumenical historical trajectory from its inception to the present day. It highlights the pivotal role played by the church in initiating the ecumenical movement, long before the establishment of organisation's such as the World Council of Churches.

The agreement between Old Catholics and Mar Thoma Church signifies a significant milestone in the church's journey towards unity and reconciliation. A healing of the wound created by the council of Chaldea and a unique statement of Orient meeting West.

I particularly enjoyed reading the chapters written by Joseph Mar Ivanios Thirumeni and Joseph Mar Barnabas Suffragan Metropolitan Thirumeni. Their insights into the church's history and its role in the ecumenical movement were enlightening and thought-provoking.
